Fun, creative and fulfilling role within our pre-production department! The textile print designer will be responsible for creating, preparing, and approving print-ready artwork for textile production, ensuring accuracy for bulk printing.

About your new role
- Create and manage production ready artwork files ready for printing, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all size breaks & styles
- Ensure all graphics and sublimation artworks are print ready according to deadlines & timelines
- Correspond with fashion designers to confirm artwork is in-alignment with design proof
- Ensure accurate artwork alignment, scaling, and repeat accuracy across all print designs
- Manage colour accuracy, including correct CMYK values, colour profiles, and approved colour gradients
- Prepare and align contours with pattern notches for accurate garment construction and printing
- Prepare files for test printing and ensure strike-offs/test prints match bulk production
- Apply accurate colour profiles, ensuring the profile used in artwork matches the saved digital files
- Label artwork files clearly and accurately, including profiles, versions, and colourways
- Conduct final quality checks to prevent production errors and reprints such as reviewing all additional notes attached to the task
- This in an office-based role Mon-Fri, 7:30am start – 4pm finish, with early finish on Fridays
What will you bring?
- Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, In Design and Photoshop
- 2+ years demonstrated experience in textile design and illustration
- Knowledge of elements and principles of design and how they apply to textiles
- Understanding of various textile manufacturing and printing techniques including digital printing, stretch fabric structures
- Familiarity with garment construction, pattern making, print, contours and pattern alignment
- Experience with fabric strike-offs and bulk production approvals
- Excellent attention to detail when creating designs and textile artwork.
- Solid knowledge of colour management, CMYK values, and gradients
- Cert 4 or higher qualifications in textile, graphic, or design
