We’re now looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team across ANZ.
About the Role
As Sales Manager, you will lead a team of Account Managers to deliver sustainable growth by building deep customer relationships and positioning Swagelok as a strategic partner.
You’ll lead by example by championing solution-based selling, conducting joint calls and coaching your team to success and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.
In addition to leading people, you will also manage a small sales territory, giving you the opportunity to stay close to customers and continuously refine your craft.
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing you will:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Account Managers
- Drive growth through new and core product sales, strategic account management, and value-driven customer engagement
- Conduct joint customer visits to deepen relationships and identify opportunities
- Support the development and execution of industry and account plans
- Ensure effective use of CRM, forecasting, and sales reporting tools
- Foster a collaborative, values-based team culture and psychologically safe environment
- Deliver Customer Value through the adoption of Swagelok programs including Custom Solutions, Field Engineering, and Customer Training
- Model best practices in leadership, communication, and consultative selling

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience leading and developing sales teams
- Strong background in solution-based or technical sales
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Organised, accountable, and results driven
- Growth mindset with a passion for coaching and team development
- Ability to travel regularly within Australia & New Zealand
- Ability to travel occasionally to Corporate events in APAC or USA
- Full working rights in Australia
Desirable:
- Background in engineering, technical sales, or fluid systems
- Experience using CRM, Power BI, or Monday.com
- Familiarity with leadership tools such as Crucial Conversations, GROW coaching, etc.
