Surf Life Saving Queensland is seeking an energetic and skilled Education & Training Supervisor to champion the delivery of high-quality Life Saving training across the Gold Coast Region.

What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate the region’s annual training plan and ensure quality, consistent delivery across clubs.
- Support, mentor, and supervise TAFs, including onboarding and professional development.
- Deliver and assess Life Saving courses as needed.
- Review RPL applications and maintain your own trainer/assessor currency.
- Build strong relationships with clubs and branches, providing guidance, updates, and responsive support.
- Contribute to reports, attend meetings, and assist with training administration.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Seek continuous professional development and contribute ideas to improve training processes and member experience.
About You:
Essential
- Working with Children Blue Card (or the ability to obtain)
- Experience using aXcelerate LMS
- Strong knowledge of SLS Education programs
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110/40116/40122 or willingness to obtain)
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required
- Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organisational and time management ability
- High-level computer skills
- Current Driver’s Licence
Desirable
- SLSQ Bronze Medallion / Certificate II in Public Safety
- Trainer/Assessor experience in SLS
- Operational awards such as IRB Crew/Driver
- Experience writing evaluation reports
