Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Role Type: Part-time (4 days per week)

Employee Working Hours: Part-time

Package: : $100,000 – 120,000 base salary per annum (pro-rata to 4 days) + 11.5% superannuation + 5 weeks of annual leave + salary packaging benefits.

Job Summary:

SILC is a NDIS registered provider, delivering supports to people with disability. We place people with disability at the centre of everything that we do. We know attracting and retaining great staff is a cornerstone to achieve this. This is where your role comes in.

We are seeking a Human Resource Manager to continue to innovate with us, to identify ways to attract and retain good people, while also contributing to the human resource strategic planning as required by SILC. The Human Resource Manager will enable effective running of SILC by providing appropriate and timely HR services throughout the employee lifecycle, which are aligned with the SILC’s values.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with organisational goals
  • Manage the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding new employees
  • Handle employee relations issues including grievances or disciplinary actions
  • Coordinate performance management processes including goal setting and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a human resources role
  • Certification from a recognised HR professional organization is preferred (e.g. SHRM or AHRI)
  • A strong understanding of Australian employment laws
