Finance Manager (Bilingual in Chinese & English)

Role Overview

As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial functions of both Sunnycare Home Services and Sunnycare Residential. You will work directly with the CEO, and become a key member in the leadership team. You will be responsible for ensuring you and your team comply with accounting standards, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth objectives.

The Duties

• Provide strategic analysis and financial advice on business ventures & operations.
• Manage financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation and cost control.
• Manage end of month end closures procedures and prepare financial reports to internal and external stakeholders. 
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax agencies, bankers and government officers. 
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business goals. 
• Prepare management reports integrating operational data and provide analysis and recommendations to support decision-making and growth. 
• Design and implement financial policies and system to enhance compliance, efficiency, and risk management. 
• Monitor cash flow on a weekly and monthly basis and ensure adequate liquidity for operations and investments. 
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all financial related areas. 
• Partnering with other departments to execute the business strategy. 
• Mentor and guide finance team members. 

About You

• Bilingual in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Australian National Police Check.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
• CPA or CA qualification is required.
• Australian Citizen or PR is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager. 
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. 
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Suite. 
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Industry experience highly desirable.
