About the Role

We are seeking an Architect to join our team in a Project Lead capacity. This role is open to candidates operating at Senior Architect, Associate, or Senior Associate level, depending on experience. You will lead projects from concept through to delivery, maintaining design integrity while managing client relationships, programme, and consultant coordination. For more experienced candidates, there is an opportunity to take on broader leadership responsibilities across multiple projects, contribute to studio operations, and help shape the direction of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

·Lead projects across all phases, from concept to delivery

·Manage client relationships and act as key point of contact

·Oversee programme, budget, and coordination Design & Delivery

·Drive design quality and resolution through all stages

·Ensure compliance with relevant codes, planning controls, and standards

·Oversee documentation and consultant integration

Team & Studio Contribution

·Mentor and guide junior team members

·Contribute to studio knowledge, systems, and design culture

For Associate / Senior Associate candidates:

·Lead multiple projects or precinct-scale workstreams

·Support resourcing, forecasting, and project performance

·Contribute to business development, client strategy, and proposals

·Play a role in studio leadership and team development

  

About You

You are a design-led architect who can operate across both creative and delivery phases. You are confident engaging with clients, resolving complexity, and leading teams. You balance design ambition with commercial awareness, and understand how to navigate planning, coordination, and delivery challenges to achieve strong outcomes. You are collaborative, proactive, and invested in contributing to a broader studio culture, not just delivering projects.

 

Required Skills & Experience

·8–15+ years’ experience, with demonstrated project leadership

·Ability to lead projects independently or contribute within larger teams

·Proven experience managing clients, consultants, and delivery outcomes

·Strong understanding of Australian building codes, legislation, and compliance

·Proficiency in Revit and strong communication skills

·Experience working across multi-disciplinary environments

·Multi-residential experience desirable
