You’ll be part of a team that blends strategy, creativity, and curiosity.
As our Learning & Development Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in nurturing talent, maintaining our knowledge repositories, and keeping our team at the forefront of SEO and industry trends. You’ll own onboarding new staff, training of current staff, and the systems that make learning scalable, as well as managing your own SEO campaigns so everything you teach is tested in the real world.
Your day-to-day might include, but not limited to:

Owning the L&D strategy for the SEO team, aligned with the annual business plan.

Building capability matrices and structured pathways.

Liaising with expert specialists to identify skill gaps within the agency, and facilitate training accordingly.

Running and improving the SEO Bootcamp, our system used to onboard Junior SEO Specialists and SEO Specialists.

Assisting Team Leaders with onboarding of staff beyond the bootcamp, and supporting onboarding of new staff across all departments.

Owning the Company Wiki and LMS, including maintenance and troubleshooting

Owning and evolving our learning curriculum, updating training based on SEO trends and algorithm changes.

Delivering regular training sessions to staff on advanced topics, skill development, and tailored uplift.

Rolling out new internal training initiatives, including new tools, platforms, and systems like CRMs.

Managing a portfolio of clients, owning the strategy and execution of SEO campaigns.

As with any role, there are requirements, and we want to be upfront so you know what’s expected.
Must haves:
- 2-3+ years (or equivalent experience) in an SEO role.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
- Comfortable owning knowledge systems (Wiki + LMS) and keeping them current
- Proven experience using AI to optimise processes and workflows.
- Proven ability to run onboarding/training programs and improve them over time.
- High attention to detail, great time management, and a “get it done” attitude.
- Completion of a certification in Learning & Development, or completion within the first 6 months of employment.
Desirable bonus skills:
- Experience with the Seismic/Lessonly platform
- Leadership and management training

Salary & Compensation:
We believe in transparency – here’s what this role offers:
- Base salary: AUD $90,000 to $105,000 + superannuation (depending on experience & technical ability)
- We believe in rewarding hard workers, not just giving them more stuff to do with nothing in return. Bonus/performance incentives tied to client outcomes and workload.
