We are now seeking a driven and detail-oriented National Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to manage key relationships with NSW Multi-Site Operators (MSOs) and oversee seasonal submissions, promotional planning, and administrative processes within the Independent Retail channel. You will play a vital role in supporting the National Account Manager and contributing to the continued growth of our business.
The Role
As a National Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing key independent accounts, driving sales growth, and executing promotional strategies. You will also oversee critical operational tasks, including forecasting, claims management, and new product set-ups, ensuring seamless execution across the Independents channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Manage relationships, product range, displays, NPD (New Product Development), and sales performance with NSW MSOs
- Seasonal Planning: Lead seasonal product submissions with Metcash to maximize category presences
- Cycle Process Leadership: Oversee the cycle documentation process for the Confectionery category.
- Claims Administration: Manage promotional claims and ensure accuracy using Promax.
- New Line Set-Up: Lead the administration of new product line setups with Metcash and other Independent retailers.
- Stock and Clearance Management: Manage stock updates, clearance strategies, and MLOR submissions to optimize inventory.
- Team Support: Provide ongoing support to the National Account Manager and the broader Independents team.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional with an understanding of the FMCG industry and the Independent Retail channel. You will have excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Prior experience in sales support or a similar role within FMCG a plus.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with sales forecasting tools and promotional portals a plus
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
