Strive Together WA is a not-for-profit NDIS provider supporting people with disability, their families and carers across Perth and surrounding suburbs. We deliver person-centred services including Supported Independent Living, farmstay respite and individualised supports that promote independence, connection and wellbeing.

About the Opportunity 

Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for community impact? Strive is seeking a creative and purpose-driven Marketing and Communications Officer to help strengthen our brand, grow community engagement, and promote the impact of our services. 

Reporting to the Manager, People and Culture, this role is responsible for delivering marketing and communications activity across Strive and Landsdale Farm. You will create engaging content, manage campaigns, support events and fundraising initiatives, maintain digital platforms, and provide performance insights that help refine our marketing efforts. 

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can combine strong content creation and storytelling capability with practical coordination, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. It is an opportunity to contribute to a for-purpose organisation while building meaningful connections with the community and helping showcase the impact of our work.  

This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain a strong and consistent digital presence across websites, social media and other online platforms to increase brand awareness, service visibility and audience engagement  
  • Create high-quality, brand-aligned content and marketing collateral across digital, print and promotional channels  
  • Plan and deliver marketing campaigns, communications and community engagement initiatives aligned with organisational priorities 
  • Coordinate internal and external events, including promotional activities, community events and fundraising initiatives  
  • Support the development of the annual report and other key organisational publications  
  • Monitor, analyse and report on campaign and channel performance to inform continuous improvement and effective resource use  
  • Ensure communications and promotional materials align with brand standards, accessibility expectations and relevant legislative requirements  
  • Work collaboratively with leaders and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to promote services, achievements, events and organisational impact 

Selection Criteria 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field 
  • 2–3 years’ experience in an internal marketing/comms role, ideally in the disability, community services, or not-for-purpose sector 
  • Strong skills in content creation, copywriting, social media management, campaign coordination 
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences  
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with a high level of autonomy  
  • Experience preparing reports using marketing data and analytics to identify trends and provide insights 
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills 
  • Experience coordinating fundraising events, partnerships, or sponsorship initiatives
