We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join our team in a newly awarded contract. The position is at our client’s site based in the Tomago area.

As our new Facilities Manager, you will:

  • Play an integral part implementing our new contract and services
  • Oversee and manage the full operation of our services being delivered to the client, this includes grounds maintenance, office & amenities cleaning, building and plumbing repairs & maintenance, HVAC
  • Lead and support a small team
  • Plan and allocate daily work orders and priorities
  • Work on the tools along with your team
  • Liaise with and coordinate on-site contractors and suppliers
  • Undertake the role of principal contact between our team and our client
  • Daily compliance & safety management duties
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative and industry standards

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven skill, knowledge & experience in heavy industry/maintenance as a manager or supervisor
  • Minimum 2 years infrastructure/maintenance experience
  • A trade or facilities background would be advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and job management software
  • People management, organisational written, and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding dedication to safety
  • Be able to complete and pass a full medical including drug and alcohol testing. We have a zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol. Testing is ongoing during employment
