Residential Property Manager

Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Residential Property Manager to oversee and manage residential properties in Canberra. The ideal candidate will ensure tenant satisfaction, handle property maintenance, and manage lease agreements effectively. This role is crucial for maintaining property standards and fostering positive relationships with tenants and property owners. Responsibilities: – Manage day-to-day operations of residential properties, ensuring high standards of maintenance and tenant satisfaction. – Oversee the leasing process, including tenant screening, lease agreements, and renewals. – Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. – Coordinate maintenance and repair work, liaising with contractors and service providers. – Handle tenant inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally. – Maintain accurate records of property management activities, including financial transactions and tenant communications. – Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants. – Ensure compliance with relevant property legislation and regulations. Qualifications: – Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role in the residential property sector. – Strong knowledge of NSW or Victorian tenancy legislation (cross-border experience highly regarded) – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. – Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. – Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. – A current Agent’s Representative Certificate or Class 2 License, or a willingness to obtain one. – A valid Driver’s license
