The Opportunity
Stanley College is seeking a dedicated Student Support Officer to join its high-performing Student Services team. This role plays a vital part in supporting students throughout their learning journey, from enrolment and orientation to ongoing academic and administrative assistance. Based at the West Perth Campus, the position focuses on delivering a positive student experience within a professional, inclusive, and student-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end support to students, responding to enquiries and offering guidance throughout their studies.
- Assist with online and face-to-face enrolments, orientation sessions, and student onboarding activities.
- Monitor student attendance and academic progress, escalating concerns where required.
- Maintain accurate student records and support administrative processes in line with College procedures.
- Deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining a professional learning environment.
- Support day-to-day student services operations and undertake administrative tasks as required.
About You
- Previous experience in administration or customer service within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
- High level of professionalism and a student-focused service mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and confidence working with student management systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
