ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be primarily based at our West Perth Campus, reporting to the Faculty Manager – Business.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching across Bachelor and/or Master of Business programs, supporting student learning through engaging, student-centred approaches. You will contribute to curriculum development, assessment design, and academic quality processes while fostering an inclusive learning environment that develops practical business skills and critical thinking. Your work will play a key role in shaping future business professionals and supporting the College’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and workshops across core and elective business units for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Develop and improve curriculum content, assessment tools, learning materials, and teaching strategies.
- Provide timely feedback and academic support to enhance student learning and progression.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and dynamic learning environment that encourages critical thinking and practical application.
- Contribute to moderation, validation, accreditation, and ongoing quality assurance processes.
- Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with academic standards and institutional policies.
- Strengthen industry and professional networks to support student employability and program relevance.
- Participate in scholarly activities, research, publications, and ongoing professional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues on academic initiatives, program improvement, planning and policy development.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A recognised AQF+1 qualification (e.g. Master’s or PhD) or equivalent in a relevant discipline in Business, Management, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated experience teaching in higher education, with strong understanding of business theory and practice.
- Ability to deliver engaging, student-centred learning experiences across diverse cohorts, including international students.
- Experience in curriculum development, academic administration, and assessment design.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills, with the ability to support student success.
- Commitment to scholarly engagement, research, and continuous professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an academic team and contribute to a positive teaching culture.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements in higher education, including ESOS National Code (desirable).
