Splash is looking for our next Account Director. Join us, and you’ll have the chance to manage new as well as existing accounts, take the lead in adding to our growing client base, and help elevate our profile as the agency to watch.

Responsibilities:

Grow and develop new and existing accounts

  • Take the lead to consistently manage and deliver high-quality client management, strategic council and top-notch work
  • Track, manage and work with peers to meet agency performance targets
  • Identify and secure opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Nurture and bring in new business ie producing proposals, delivering presentations and providing counsel to client
  • Establish strategic partnerships and alliances with key stakeholders to promote agency

Manage and co-lead team

  • Work with counterparts to grow and manage your team through overseeing of day-to-day work (strat and planning, briefs, reviews etc)
  • Lead and drive fair, timely, efficient and cost-effective job management and delivery
  • Manage and work with other team leads to meet agency objectives
  • Provide leadership/motivation to hit targets, while taking care of the team and driving the agency vision and values

Drive high-quality account management

  • Work with management and peers to elevate account management, team growth and
  • profitability
  • Liaise, advice and manage clients at a senior level on a day-to-day basis
  • Take the lead in clients’ campaign strategies, comms approach budgeting and rollout plans
  • Oversee and drive effective budget allocation, team management and costs management

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years experience in the advertising/creative comms field
  • Previous agency experience as a team lead (Senior Account Managers with team management experience can also apply)
  • Experience in managing team members and collaborating with co-workers across various teams
  • Proven competencies in
  • Creative brief development, campaign planning, budget allocation and management, comms/marketing strategy, marketing funnel management,
  • Strategic account planning, pipeline management, business development, relationship building
  • Negotiation skills, written, verbal & presentation skills, analytical skills, people management
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
