About Us
South West Community Care is a not-for-profit Organisation and Registered Charity local to the South West, providing aged care and in-home services to the local community. It is managed by a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who is supported by a Chief Governance Officer and Management Team overseeing operations and supporting a team of over 120 employees and volunteers. The CEO, in conjunction with a volunteer Board of Management, sets the strategic direction for the organisation.

Position Purpose
Reporting to the Administration and Facilities Coordinator, the purpose of your role is:
The Fleet Vehicle and Support Assistant provides practical, operational support to the organisation by maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and readiness of all organisational fleet vehicles across the
Harvey, Australind, and Dalyellup sites.
The role ensures vehicles are routinely cleaned, inspected, and prepared for safe and efficient use by
employees, while promptly identifying and reporting any maintenance, damage, or safety concerns. This position contributes to maintaining a safe, compliant, and professional fleet that supports the effective delivery of services across the organisation.
Position Responsibilities
As a Fleet Detailer and Support Assistant you will be responsible for and assisting with:
Complete interior and exterior cleaning of fleet vehicles in accordance with Skedulo vehicle care tasks.
- Follow all WHS, infection control, and organisational policies when undertaking duties.
- Maintain fleet presentation to organisational standards at all times.
- Ensure all vehicles across Harvey, Australind, and Dalyellup sites are serviced as
scheduled.
- Adhere to the established weekly cleaning schedule.
- Check and restock all required equipment and consumables in each vehicle.
- Delivery and collection of vehicles to service and repair centers as per maintenance schedule.
- Submit vehicle maintenance check documentation using the internal Scheduling app (Skedulo) and report any issue or non-compliance with company policies/procedures.
- Transport vehicles between offices as required.
To thrive in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated ability to clean, detail, and maintain vehicles to a high standard.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance checks.
- Understanding of safe work practices, including manual handling and use of cleaning products.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines and maintain vehicle readiness.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to maintain logs, checklists, or simple reports relating to vehicle status and maintenance.
- Ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision.
Office Base Location
Based at the Australind Office but will be required to work from other sites.
