Forklift Operator – Expression of Interest

$37/hr + OT Forklift Operator (AM Shift)

South East Queensland Hauliers is a full service wharf logistics provider based in Hemmant, 5 minutes from the Port of Brisbane. Founded in the 1960’s, SEQH have grown to become one of the largest import/export wharf carriers whilst still remaining a family owned and operated business. 

SEQH reside on company owned sites in both Hemmant and Toowoomba. Both of which are undergoing 2025 planned infrastructure developments that have been initiated by genuine growth. It’s an exciting time to join!

Job Details:

• Location: Lot 9 Crocker Court, Wellcamp, QLD
• Weekly Pay: $37\hr. + OT – Fast Track to Full Time
• Monday to Friday, 8-10hrs./day

Requirements:

• Current Perform High Risk License (Forklift)
• At least 1 year experience in forklift operation
• Experience in agriculture, particularly in handling cotton is preferred
• Ability to pass criminal history and drug & alcohol checks

Responsibilities:

• Handling, sorting, and packing/unpacking shipments.
• Perform general forklift maintenance and assist in yard upkeep.
• Adhere to WHS legislation and safe work practices
• Support administration with paperwork and container checks
• Assist with loading and unloading at the Hemmant site if required
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Yard Supervisor
