Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor turf staff maintaining elite sports field surfaces
- Operate cylinder mowers and precision turf equipment daily
- Coordinate mowing, line marking and sports field preparation
- Monitor turf health, irrigation and implement improvement plans
- Apply fertilisers, herbicides and pest control safely and accurately
- Maintain high WHS standards across all turf operations and staff
- Liaise with stakeholders and report on turf presentation
- Plan and deliver seasonal renovations, recovery and maintenance works
- Carry out aeration, scarifying, dethatching and turf recovery programs
- Oversee turf installs, drainage upgrades and sports field projects
- Support overall campus presentation, detailing and landscape edging
- Identify opportunities to improve turf quality, performance and processes
What will you need?
- Certificate III in Sports Turf Management Or similar
- Driver’s licence (Manual or Automatic)
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
