So, what duties can you expect to do in your apprenticeship?

  • Gain hands-on experience across commercial works
  • Work with a leading horticulture maintenance provider
  • Learn in a fast-paced, on-the-job environment
  • Assist with garden and turf maintenance tasks
  • Apply herbicides and pesticides safely
  • Learn plant ID, care routines and pest control
  • Complete Cert III in Parks and Gardens (TAFE)
  • Work alongside experienced landscape teams
  • Develop skills in planting, pruning and soil care
  • Operate basic tools and horticulture equipment
  • Assist with irrigation and drainage upkeep
  • Support sustainable landscaping practices
