Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Team Leader with strong grounds maintenance and horticulture experience to lead a small team at a residential estate in Dapto. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining landscaped areas to a high standard, with the majority of work based on one site and occasional support across nearby locations. Key responsibilities

  • Lead a small team to complete daily landscape and maintenance tasks across the estate.
  • Operate modern grounds maintenance equipment including zero-turn mowers and powered tools.
  • Engage with residents and site stakeholders while representing Solutions+ professionally.
  • Handle site administration including pre-starts, reporting, Take 5s, and SWMS.
  • Perform mowing, pruning, planting, mulching, and general horticultural maintenance.
  • Operate ride-on mowers and specialised landscaping machinery.
  • Use hand tools and equipment required for grounds maintenance tasks.
  • Manage irrigation systems including watering schedules and minor repairs.
  • Identify site improvements and assist with enhancement works.
  • Assist with seasonal planting programs and garden upgrades.
  • Check soil condition and apply fertilisers or treatments when required.
  • Maintain safe work practices and ensure WHS compliance across the site.

What will you need

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens (Preferred)
  • Driver’s Licence (Manual or Automatic)
  • National Police Check (valid or willingness to obtain)
  • Working with Children Check (valid or willingness to obtain)
  • Proven experience leading or supervising a grounds team
