Your duties will include:
- Lead and mentor a team of Natural Area Specialists, driving performance and site outcomes
- Deliver bush regeneration works using manual, chemical and ecological control methods
- Identify, prioritise and manage invasive species across diverse environments
- Plan and implement revegetation programs using appropriate native species
- Monitor ecosystem health and track regeneration progress across sites
- Conduct flora and fauna assessments to support biodiversity outcomes
- Restore and protect sensitive environments including bushland, wetlands and coastal areas
- Plan daily works and manage team schedules to ensure safe, efficient delivery
- Maintain high standards of quality, environmental compliance and site presentation
- Complete all required documentation including pre-starts, reports, Take 5s and SWMS
- Ensure WHS compliance across all works, promoting a strong safety culture
- Conduct regular site inspections, identifying risks and improvement opportunities
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships
- Train, coach and develop team members to build capability and consistency
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Current Drivers’ licence
- National Police Check
- Experience in bush regeneration or a related field is required to lead
- Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or Bachelors (Highly Desirable)
