Overview of the Role
We are seeking a visionary AI DevOps Engineer to redefine our operational practices. You will not just maintain infrastructure; you will inject artificial intelligence into every layer of our deployment and production environments. This role goes beyond using AI to simply write scripts. We want an engineer who can leverage AI to autonomously determine when production systems should scale, automatically verify if Production Verification Testing (PVT) has successfully completed post deployment, and optimise the entire software delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Intelligent Infrastructure Scaling: Implement AI models to analyse production traffic and autonomously trigger scaling events before performance bottlenecks occur.

Automated Production Verification: Build AI driven mechanisms to evaluate system health and confirm that PVT is fully satisfied immediately after new code hits production.

Core DevOps Execution: Architect and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure while finding opportunities to replace static rules with intelligent automation.

AI Powered Root Cause Analysis: Integrate Large Language Models into observability platforms to instantly diagnose production incidents and suggest automated remediation steps.

Operational Optimisation: Continuously evaluate existing DevOps practices and deploy AI tools to eliminate manual toil across the engineering division.
Skills & Experience

DevOps Mastery: 5 or more years of proven experience managing cloud native infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and complex CI/CD pipelines.

AI Integration: Hands on experience connecting operational telemetry data to AI models or LLMs to drive automated decision making in production environments.

Infrastructure as Code: Deep expertise in writing and maintaining Terraform or similar tools to manage highly scalable environments.

Advanced Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python or Go to build custom integrations between DevOps tooling and AI application programming interfaces.

Observability Expertise: Experience configuring advanced monitoring platforms to feed real time data into AI evaluation engines.
