TEST: Mobilisation & Onboarding Coordinator

About the Role

SMS Mining Services is seeking a Mobilisation Officer to manage the smooth, timely mobilisation of our workforce across mining operations.

• Coordinating FIFO/DIDO mobilisations to site once onboarding is completed by the Recruitment team
• Managing site-specific access, inductions, medicals and compliance requirements
• Organising flights, accommodation and mobilisation schedules
• Liaising with site teams, clients and internal stakeholders
• Managing DAS and PEM bookings where required
• Maintaining accurate mobilisation records and documentation
• Troubleshooting mobilisation issues to minimise delays to site

This role sits between recruitment and site operations. Once candidates are fully onboarded by Recruitment, you take ownership of getting them site-ready – managing site-specific requirements, travel, accommodation and mobilisation systems to ensure crews arrive compliant and prepared.

 What We’re Looking For

• Experience in mobilisation, workforce coordination or similar role
• Exposure to mining or resources environments
• Strong understanding of mobilisations, travel and site access processes
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator who enjoys working with operations and site teams
• Comfortable managing multiple mobilisations in a deadline-driven environment
