Full-Time Position
Smiths Beach Resort is a luxury beachfront resort located in
the heart of the Margaret River wine region. We are currently seeking a
professional, guest-focused Guest Experience Agent to join our Front Office
team.
This is a hands-on hospitality role combining front-office
operations and reservations support in a relaxed, luxury resort environment.
About the Role
As a Guest Experience Agent, you will be one of the first
points of contact for our guests and play an important role in delivering a
welcoming and memorable experience throughout their stay.
You will assist with daily front-office operations, guest
enquiries, accommodation bookings, and general guest services, while
maintaining a high standard of customer care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming
guests and assisting with check-in and check-out
- Responding
to guest enquiries via phone and email
- Assisting
with accommodation reservations and booking enquiries
- Entering
and updating reservations within the booking system
- Providing
guests with resort and local area information
- Managing
guest requests and general front office administration
- Processing
payments and maintaining accurate guest records
- Working
closely with housekeeping and other resort departments
- Delivering
professional and personalised guest service at all times
About You
- Previous
hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Experience
using RMS or similar property management and booking systems
- Strong
communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional
presentation and a positive attitude
- Ability
to work well within a team environment
- Comfortable
managing phone, email, and guest enquiries
- Strong
attention to detail and organisational skills
- Flexibility
to work weekends, public holidays, and peak trading periods as required
Working Hours
This is a full-time position with standard rostered hours
generally between 9:00am and 5:30pm.
Additional flexibility is required during peak periods and
high occupancy, with shifts occasionally rostered between 8:00am and 7:00pm
based on operational requirements.
