About the Role
As a Senior Databricks Data Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and optimisation of scalable data solutions. Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders, you will help build robust data platforms that support advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks
- Build and optimise data transformation frameworks using DBT
- Develop solutions using Python and SQL to support complex business requirements
- Implement modern data engineering best practices, including testing, monitoring and performance optimisation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Architects, Analysts and AI specialists
- Contribute to solution design, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the delivery of enterprise-grade data platforms within cloud environments
About You
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience delivering data engineering solutions using Databricks
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with DBT and modern data transformation practices
- Experience working within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Strong understanding of data modelling principles and data architecture concepts
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A collaborative approach with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth
