SUMMARY:
As the Vice-President of Sales for Silentium Defence’s US subsidiary, Silentium Defense, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and market expansion within the defense, commercial, and space sectors. Initially reporting directly to the Silentium Defense’s Chief Executive Officer, you will play a pivotal role on our executive leadership team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives that align with customer needs and market trends, ultimately maximizing value and driving business success.
This role will comprise sales, marketing, business development, and customer
service to ensure seamless alignment and execution of business strategies. You
will be responsible for crafting compelling proposals and bids,
conducting market research, and nurturing strategic relationships with key
customers and stakeholders. By leveraging your deep understanding of
US market dynamics and customer requirements, you will contribute to the
formulation of business strategies and drive operational readiness to meet evolving
market demands.
You will represent Silentium Defense at national and international
events, showcasing our solutions and building strong relationships
with industry partners. Your leadership and strategic vision will be critical
in positioning Silentium Defence as a market leader and driving
sustainable growth and success within our US operations. Please note: Locations of position can be in Washington, DC, Apex, NC, Colorado Springs, CO or remote.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, execute and convert strategic sales and marketing initiatives within the US Market to expand market share and increase revenue.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team on key strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Lead all US sales, marketing, and business development activities, including recruitment, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage and optimize the sales team to achieve revenue, order backlog, and EBITDA targets.
- Enhance brand recognition and awareness through effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, retailers, and industry stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer needs to adjust sales and pricing strategies.
- Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of pricing strategies, compare competitor pricing, and establish prices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Negotiate contracts with customers and manage strategic relationships.
- Foster a positive work environment focused on the company culture and values.

Team Leadership: As the US team expands, lead and mentor a high-performing sales and business development team, providing guidance and coaching to achieve business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven success in senior management sales roles, ideally within defense sector.
- Strong understanding of US Defense market dynamics, industry trends, and regulatory environment.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team building and performance management.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills, with strong negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, drive sales growth, and achieve business objectives.
