Site Service Supervisor

Summary:

The Site Service Supervisor will oversee service operations throughout the Hunter Valley, ensuring efficient planning and execution of scheduled shutdowns. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of safety, customer relations, and operational excellence, while also identifying new business opportunities and developing the skills of the service team.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the site representative ensuring effective communication and coordination.
• Plan and coordinate scheduled shutdowns, including attending pre-shutdown meetings on-site as required.
• Supervise the service team to ensure all working requirements are completed, including toolbox meetings, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Take 5 assessments.
• Develop JHAs for new or high-level tasks required on-site to ensure safety and compliance.
• Train and supervise Service Technicians and Trade Assistants, ensuring they are competent to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure adherence to Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) practices for all staff.
• Maintain excellent customer relations by understanding and addressing their explicit needs.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while on-site to enhance service offerings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the mining or related industry.
• Strong understanding of WH&S regulations and practices.
• Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate complex operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build customer relationships.
• Ability to identify business opportunities and provide solutions to meet customer needs.
