About the Role

As a Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality client experience. Working closely with our file handlers, you will support end-to-end management of conveyancing matters, helping to ensure transactions progress efficiently, deadlines are met and clients feel informed and supported throughout the process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide high-quality client support and care throughout the conveyancing process

  • Assist with transactional and administrative support across a range of matters

  • Prepare and draft legal correspondence and documentation

  • Conduct property and title searches and assist with the preparation of settlements

  • Maintain strong organisation while managing competing priorities, with the ability to assess urgency and adjust tasks accordingly

About You

Successful applicants will demonstrate the following: 

  • 2+ years experience in all aspects of property law/conveyancing

  • proven ability to work autonomously with accountability and consistent delivery

  • High-performing, proactive and committed to client service excellence

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a strong customer and stakeholder focus and work ethic

  • Strong IT literacy and aptitude for learning new legal technology

  • ability to multitask and manage several different tasks/jobs at once in an organised and coherent manner

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to maintain connection across a largely remote team

  • ‘Can-do’ attitude with enthusiasm, confidence, energy and positivity
