About the Role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Officer to join our Quality Team on a full-time or part time (0.8) basis for a 6 month fixed term contract.
Based at our Newmarket office, this role supports the Quality Manager in maintaining and strengthening SEQUAL’s Quality, Risk and Compliance (QRC) framework. You will play a key role in internal audits, document management, regulatory monitoring and reporting to ensure our systems remain effective, compliant and continuously improving.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure strong Quality systems, accurate documentation and high standards of compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and ongoing administration of SEQUAL’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Coordinate and support the internal audit program, including preparation of documentation, evidence collection and follow-up of actions.
- Maintain and administer the organisation’s Document Management System (DMS), including policy review cycles and register management.
- Maintain internal registers including Policy & Procedure, Risk and Conflict of Interest registers.
- Monitor regulatory updates and support the review of policies and procedures to reflect legislative requirements.
- Track corrective actions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare quality reports and documentation, analysing trends and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote quality assurance practices across the organisation.
Required skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Auditing or similar role.
- Experience working with quality systems, document control processes or audit coordination.
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards and/or NDIS Practice Standards (desirable).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a current paid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Check.
- Hold full working rights in Australia.
