About the Role:

We’re seeking a proactive and adaptable Executive Assistant to support our CEO on a part time basis (22.5 weekly hours) for a 12 month fixed term contract.

The position is primarily based at our Strathpine office and will also provide support across other SEQUAL office locations as required.

This role plays a key part in enabling the CEO to focus on strategic leadership by managing priorities, coordinating governance processes, and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.

You will thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities shift and strong judgement, organisation and communication are essential.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Support the CEO’s in managing calendar, appointments and meetings, including preparation of agendas, papers and follow-up actions. 
  • Coordinate Board and governance processes, including scheduling, preparation and distribution of documentation and communication with Board members.     
  • Prioritise incoming communications (email and phone), drafting correspondence and responses as appropriate.        
  • Track key actions and deliverables arising from meetings and leadership initiatives.        
  • Maintain accurate documentation and confidential governance records.        
  • Provide administrative support to CEO-led initiatives and leadership projects.        
  • Support reception and general office administration functions.

    Required skills and experience:

    • Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive or administrative support.
    • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond constructively to changing priorities.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.     Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders including Board members and senior leaders.
    • Proven ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
    • High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work across multiple SEQUAL office locations as required.
    • Hold or be willing to obtain a current paid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Queensland Working with Children Check.
    • Hold full working rights in Australia.
