As we expand into Australia, we’re looking for an exceptional leader to become the investment face of Selfwealth, by Syfe in Australia. This is a Director-level opportunity to shape market strategy, influence product direction, and represent a rising regional brand at the forefront of digital wealth innovation.

What You’ll Lead
Be Selfwealth, by Syfe’s Investment Voice in Australia
- Represent Selfwealth, by Syfe across media, industry events, webinars and commentary.
- Craft and deliver timely, relevant and high-quality market insights and thought leadership, similar to Selfwealth, by Syfe’s investment content engine in Singapore.
- Establish a consistent, trustworthy and recognisable investment voice for the brand locally.
Drive Investment Strategy through Thought Leadership
- Provide deep insights into the Australian investment landscape, including but not limited to regulatory developments, investor preferences, superannuation dynamics, ETFs, managed accounts, thematic trends and taxation considerations.
- Develop Australia-specific macro and market perspectives, integrated into Selfwealth, by Syfe’s regional investment outlooks and product planning.
- Produce and scale tailored commentary, reports, and educational content, simplifying complex investment concepts for the mass-affluent audience via AI-assisted pipelines.
Shape Australia’s Product Offering
- Define the roadmap for Australian wealth products including managed portfolios, cash solutions, thematic strategies, retirement-focused products, and advisory content.
- Translate local requirements clearly for Selfwealth, by Syfe’s central quant and portfolio construction teams.
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years of investment experience in strategy, research, advisory, or product roles in the Australian market.
- Deep understanding of Australia’s investment ecosystem – ETFs, managed accounts, regulatory frameworks, superannuation and retail investor behaviour.
- Outstanding communication skills with proven media, public-speaking or client-facing presence.
- Ability to break down complex investment concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong relationships across asset managers, issuers, research providers and/or industry bodies.
- Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience as a Responsible Manager (RM) which involved advising on, managing, or overseeing Managed Discretionary Accounts (MDA) in a PLUS
