About the Role

This role at AIM is a contractor opportunity.

We are seeking experienced Contract Trainers and Assessors to deliver nationally recognised qualifications in Artificial Intelligence and Project Management. This flexible contract role is ideal for professionals with strong industry experience who are passionate about coaching and mentoring students in an online learning environment.

You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging tutorials and workshops, supporting students academically, and assessing their progress in line with national standards. Your ability to translate complex concepts into real-world applications will be key to student success.

Please note: Successful candidates will be engaged as independent contractors and must have their own ABN or ACN.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver training and assessment for the Diploma of Artificial Intelligence, Certificate IV in Project Management, and Diploma of Project Management
  • Facilitate online group tutorials and workshops
  • Provide academic support, coaching, and mentoring to students
  • Translate learning materials into practical, real-life scenarios
  • Ensure compliance with RTO policies, AQF, AQTF, and national standards
  • Engage diverse learner types and levels with effective communication and presentation skills
  • Manage time independently and maintain a professional online presence

About You

You are a skilled educator with a passion for vocational training and a commitment to student success. You bring:

  • A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Minimum five years’ experience in VET training and assessment
  • Relevant VET qualifications in Artificial Intelligence, Project Management, or related fields
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage learners across various levels and backgrounds
  • Knowledge of AQF, AQTF, and RTO compliance standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • A proactive, independent work style and professional approach
