About the Role

Australian College of Health and Wellness (ACHW) is looking for a motivated and organised Student Acquisition and Admissions Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a sales team and contribute to improved sales performance.

In this role, you’ll assist with refining sales processes, supporting the implementation of tools and systems (including Salesforce), and helping ensure the team is equipped to meet their goals. Working closely with senior sales leaders, you’ll contribute to planning activities, deliver ongoing training, support basic reporting and analysis, lead by example through contributing to sales and play a role in driving team productivity.

A key part of your role will be to coach and support individual team members—providing guidance, helping them adopt best practices, and contributing to a positive and high-performing team culture. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 8-10 individual contributors, fostering a culture of accountability, motivation, and high performance.
  • Take a ‘coaching-led’ approach to leadership, supporting team members in achieving both individual and team targets.
  • Monitor daily performance metrics (e.g. calls, conversions, follow-ups etc.) and provide real-time coaching to optimise productivity and outcomes.
  • Ensure consistent use of Salesforce, accurate data entry, adherence to workflow, and alignment with the full sales process.
  • Champion the effective use of Genesys (AIM’s telephony platform) to ensure the team meets call quality and service standards.
  • Identify areas of process improvement to drive greater conversion, efficiency, and predictability in the sales cycle.
  • Meet individual sales target as well as team targets
  • Answer inbound calls in a professional and timely manner when required, processing sales/bookings.
  • Make outbound calls from leads generated by ACHW to engage with potential students to ensure business/sales viability.
  • Support the development of team and individual performance targets in alignment with organisational goals.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to assess individual performance that includes call volumes, conversion rates, retention and attrition up to census
  • Deliver structured onboarding and continuous improvement training programs for sales team members to ensure quick ramp-up and consistent performance

About You

  • 2-4 years as a sales leader with robust understanding of phone-based sales management
  • Proven experience in high-volume B2C Telesales environment
  • Solid understand of call centre operations, sales scripts and objection handling
  • Experience in one-on-one coaching, performance feedback and training staff to improve skills and productivity
  • Competence in using Salesforce and telephony solutions
  • Confidence in sales reporting to analyse key performance metrics
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage escalations or sensitive customer situations
  • Experience in motivating teams to meet daily and monthly sales targets
  • An understanding of school leaver recruitment including systems such as VTAC would be beneficial
