About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Program Manager to lead the delivery and ongoing development of our programs at the Australasian College of Health and Wellness (ACHW). Reporting to the Head of ACHW, this role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality academic delivery, strong student outcomes, and smooth day-to-day operations.
You will work collaboratively across academic teams and shared services including Student Support, Marketing, Sales, IT, and Compliance to drive excellence in learning design, delivery, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership & Management
- Lead, support and manage academic staff, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance
- Oversee academic scheduling and resource planning across trimesters
- Implement outcomes from academic committees into course delivery and LMS updates
- Ensure high-quality teaching delivery and academic standards
Learning Management System (LMS)
- Act as the primary point of contact for the LMS (e.g. Moodle)
- Manage unit rollovers, access, training, and troubleshooting
- Ensure consistency in design, branding, and user experience
- Support e-learning development and product builds
- Coordinate pre-intake setup and LMS readiness
Program & Academic Operations
- Monitor and analyse unit performance (pass rates, engagement, completion)
- Support retention and student success initiatives
- Maintain accurate academic records and reporting
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet compliance and governance requirements
Operational & Strategic Support
- Contribute to ACHW’s strategic goals and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support student engagement activities including orientations and information sessions
- Assist in partnership management where required
- Coordinate the annual graduation event end-to-end
About You
You are a collaborative and proactive leader with a strong background in higher education and online learning environments. You bring a balance of academic oversight, operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary qualification required
- Proven experience in academic/program management within a tertiary environment
- Experience managing online learning delivery and digital platforms
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and evaluation
- High level leadership, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Experience with LMS platforms (e.g. Moodle) and education technologies
- CRM experience (Salesforce desirable)
