About the Role
As our People and Performance Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day people aspects of our business, which employs around 250 people and has a faculty of hundreds. You’ll provide foundational support in talent acquisition, onboarding, system administration, employee records management, training coordination, reporting, and internal communication. Your confidentiality, accuracy and warmth will help foster a positive employee experience.
Please note, this is a part time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing the team’s inbox and responding to people-related queries
- Support talent acquisition activities, including preparing job descriptions, advertisements, conducting telephone screenings, preparing employment agreements and coordinate onboarding and induction for new starters
- Maintain accurate employee records, prepare reports, contribute to process improvement, and provide administrative support for a variety of people-related projects and initiatives
- Draft internal communications, promote employee engagement activities, and support company-wide events and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring our workplaces are safe, welcoming and productive
About you
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound knowledge of MSOffice and use of an HRIS (Employment Hero or similar)
- Previous experience in an administrative or support role in an HR function
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field is ideal but not essential
