Saint Stephen’s College is seeking an organised and service-focused Administration Assistant to provide high-quality administrative and front-office support within Student Welfare.
Working closely with the Dean of Senior Students and Pastoral Care Team, this position supports day-to-day student welfare operations through professional communication, diary and appointment coordination, record management, and responsive service to students, parents and staff.
The Opportunity
- Permanent part-time position, working term time, 20 hours per week
- Provide professional front-office and administrative support for Student Welfare, including face-to-face, email and telephone assistance to students, parents, staff and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate diaries, appointments, documentation and the distribution of key information to
support student welfare operations and wider College communication.
- Manage data, lists and reports across Microsoft Office and College systems, ensuring
information is accurate, timely and handled with care.
- Monitor the assigned inbox, support reporting and routine administration, and assist
across the wider administration team as needed.
- Enjoy a varied, people-focused role that supports business continuity and responsive
service across the College
Who We Are Looking For
- A friendly, organised and professional approach, with the ability to work positively within a team and independently in a busy school environment
- Previous experience in administration and customer service, with strong written, verbal
and non-verbal communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage data, reports and
competing priorities with accuracy and sound judgement
- Experience in a school or College environment and familiarity with TASS or similar systems
will be highly regarded
Mandatory Clearances/Certifications
- Blue Card, in accordance with ‘No Card, No Link, No Start’, as per the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000
- Current First Aid qualification (or the ability to obtain first aid qualification)
