ABOUT THE ROLE
As the successful applicant, the Fabrication Team Leader will also collaborate with Safetylyne’s operations co-ordinator and project managers to deliver cutting-edge access solutions with world-class manufacturing quality nationally.
Your duties as Fabrication Team Leader will include but not be limited to:
- Read and interpret and understand technical fabrication drawings
- Measure, cut, and assemble metal parts using tools and machinery
- Perform welding as needed
- Ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards and specifications
- Maintain and repair equipment and tools
- Maintain stock for fabrication and request purchase weekly
- Standardise procedures for fabrication & assembly to increase efficiency and minimise waste
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Proven experience as a fabricator and boilermaker with aluminium
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Team leadership
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in using metalworking tools and machinery
- Strong understanding of welding techniques and metal properties
- Attention to detail and high precision in work
- Good physical stamina and dexterity
- Motivated and optimistic
