POSITION STATEMENT 

This is a Casual position, based at RSLWA State Branch in Perth CBD. The successful candidate will work within the ANZAC Club, reporting to the ANZAC Club General Manager or to other staff as delegated. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greeting and assisting our clients and guests
  • Explaining menu items
  • Serving of food and beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and events venues within ANZAC House
  • Monitor the inventory
  • Attend to cash registers
  • Other duties as directed by the ANZAC Club General Manager and/or Restaurant Manager

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Experience

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (Nationally Recognised)
  • Food Handler’s Certification
  • Prior experience as an Attendant with restaurants or hotels
  • A sound knowledge of restaurant hygiene practices and Work Health Safety standards

Personal Skills and Attributes

  • Highly adaptable with ability to work flexibility, including out of standard work hours (for RSLWA events) as required.
  • Strong teamwork orientation, with the ability and social skills to work collaboratively with staff at all levels
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to work autonomously, self-motivated, proactive and with a high-energy level
  • Ability to take responsibility, show initiative and work calmly under pressure
