Working out of our Brisbane office in Stones Corner, we are seeking an Administration Officer to join our small team on a permanent, full-time basis. This newly created all-rounder role has been established due to ongoing growth and will see you managing a blend of travel coordination and office administration duties, providing essential support to the Brisbane office and the wider company structure.
This position offers variety and a rewarding level of challenge, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage diverse responsibilities. The ideal candidate values consistency, brings a proactive approach, and is driven to support the team as needed.
**We are open to flexible full-time work arrangements to support a long-term commitment to the role.**
You will be responsible for the following:
Travel Coordination & Administration
- Managing workforce travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodation, car hire, and other travel related services.
- Providing cost effective, tailored travel options for all employees.
- Processing travel supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Management of rental properties
Customer Service
- Greeting visitors and answering phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assisting with general enquiries.
- Communicating with staff and suppliers on a regular basis.
Office Support
- General office and administrative duties for the Brisbane team.
- Purchasing office stationary and supplies.
- Managing kitchen facilities and supplies.
- Keeping the office organised and tidy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous administrative experience is required;
- Experience in corporate travel coordination is highly regarded;
- Experience in AP and Xero is highly regarded;
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite;
- Accuracy and efficient data entry;
- Strong time management and organisational skills;
- Strong communication skills, essential for effective teamwork and collaboration;
- Valid, open Driver’s Licence with reliable transport; and
- Experience in the construction industry would be advantageous.
