The Royal Motor Yacht Club is proudly located on Sydney’s beautiful Pittwater and continues to grow as the place to go on the Northern Beaches for boating, dining, wellness and exceptional member experiences. As we expand our offering, we are excited to launch a brand-new Wellbeing Centre — and we are seeking an energetic, forward-thinking business leader to bring this vision to life.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Wellbeing Centre Manager will lead the development, launch and daily operations of this exciting new business unit.
Starting in the New Year, this is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is passionate about building community, and is enthusiastic about holistic health. You will shape the member experience, grow the centre’s services, manage external fitness and health providers, and ensure the Wellbeing Centre becomes a highly valued part of Club life.
What You’ll Do
Operations & Member Experience
• Deliver personalised wellbeing and fitness programs tailored to member needs
• Lead classes, sessions or wellness events in your chosen area of fitness or specialty, contributing directly to the member experience
• Create innovative events and initiatives to keep members engaged and inspired
• Oversee scheduling, service delivery and day-to-day centre operations
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and operational standards
Business Growth & Strategy
• Develop and implement strategies to grow membership, engagement and revenue
• Monitor financial performance and meet KPIs
Provider & Stakeholder Coordination
• Manage relationships with physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists and other wellness partners
• Seamlessly integrate multiple services to create a holistic and cohesive member experience
• Recruit, onboard and lead a high-performing team of subcontracted wellness professionals
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation and member focus
What You Bring
• Experience in the wellness or fitness industry with a strong operational background
• Tertiary qualifications in fitness, business administration and/or a related field
• At least 3 years’ management experience in a similar role
• Exceptional organisational and customer service skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
