Summary:
We are looking for casual Chefs, of all levels, keen to prepare, cook, and present exceptional food for our members and guests. You will work with as part of the Venue Team, to ensure the highest food quality, presentation and suggestions for special menu items while ensuring excellent food and kitchen safety.
Responsibilities:
- Provide suggestions to create new recipes, and develop innovative dishes
- Maintain the expected standards of preparation, cooking, and presentation of food
- Monitor the quality of food and ensure that it meets the highest standards of taste, texture, and temperature
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean, maintained, and in good working order
- Maintain food inventory levels, control food waste, and advise if supplies are needed
- Sustain a safe and clean work environment in adherence with sanitation and health regulations
- Together with the kitchen team, manage kitchen costs and reduce wastage
About you:
- Culinary degree or similar certification is preferred
- Demonstrated experience as a competent Chef
- Ability to create and present delectable meals
- Understanding of current culinary trends and techniques
- Ability to work in as a positive, collaborative, and pro active team member is essential
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings
