As an Account Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in our field sales team, representing our portfolio of brands, including Oribe Hair Care, R+Co, R+Color, Maria Nila, and more. Your primary responsibility will be to drive business growth through education, building brand loyalty, and enhancing brand recognition within a designated geographic territory. This involves both developing new business opportunities and fostering the growth of existing accounts. Collaborating with the Rogue Beauty team, you’ll help open doors to new salons and increase sales through comprehensive product and technical education, merchandising, and cultivating strong relationships.
Reporting to the State Sales Manager VIC for your specific territory, you’ll have set targets for converting salons to R+Color and expanding sales within existing accounts. Your performance and bonus will be determined by the achievement of these goals. This role entails regional travel to regional VIC and TAS aswell as , weekend, and interstate travel for quarterly Sales and Education meetings.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Build strong, trusting relationships with salon owners, stylists, and employees.
- Execute activities aligned with business targets and education strategies.
- Plan and deliver artistic workshops, digital education, and in-salon classes.
- Collaborate with Rogue Beauty to develop and support salon-specific sell-in and sell-through strategies, leveraging your technical expertise.
- Conduct high-quality in-salon presentations and product classes.
- Identify and launch new salons to expand our business reach.
- Achieve new business acquisition goals.
- Collaborate with the sales team in your territory to inspire and engage our salon partners.
- Demonstrate agility and excellent organisational skills.
- Develop strategic education plans for each salon.
- Promote, plan, coordinate, and contribute to regional and national company-sponsored events focused on business development and education.
- Attend all company-provided meetings and training sessions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry and market trends.
- Utilise and document all salon interactions in Rogue Beauty’s enterprise software system.
- Occasional overnight travel of up to 20%.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in sales or education
- Engaging and empathetic communication style.
- Strong computer competency
- Previous experience of colour, care, and styling products, preferred.
- Genuine passion for the hairdressing and beauty industry.
- Exceptional relationship-building abilities.
- Strong organisational acumen.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and initiative.
- Valid Australian Driver’s License.
