Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Domestic Assistant (Cleaner) to join our team, on a casual but permanent basis.

 

As part of our team, you will play a vital role in providing essential cleaning services to our disability and private clients living in the community, maintaining and enhancing their homes and standard of living.

 

What you’ll bring

You are resilient, compassionate, and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you love all things cleaning.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Able to perform household tasks, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, making beds, changing linen, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens and handling laundry (hanging, folding, ironing).
  • Day shifts only – no evening or weekends – can work around school hours if needed
  • Build rapport and communicate effectively with clients
  • Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Paid travel between clients per kilometre
  • Current Working with Children’s and NDIS workers checks (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Confident using basic technology (Microsoft Teams, email, mobile apps)
