The Fine Print:

Pay: £27,500 alongside benefits such a Bupa Healthcare and Income Protection

Location: Home based, with travel to client offices and business meetings

Vacancy Type: This is a parental cover role, minimum 9 month contract that may extend to 14 months, full-time

Working pattern: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday

Reporting to: Account Director

Retail Innovation Group is looking for a proactive, detail-focused Account Executive to join our RMG team, supporting tactical, permanent and digital client activity, field team operations, and marketing/content coordination.

🌟 What You’ll Be Doing

Operational Excellence

You’ll be the backbone of day-to-day delivery across RMG by:

  • Managing travel logistics across RMG (hotels, trains, flights, taxis, meetings).
  • Handling weekly and monthly processes such as report audits, PO management, and credit card reconciliation.
  • Ensuring everything we deliver, from reports to client decks, is accurate, polished, and on brand.

Account & Client Support

You’ll support client activity through:

  • Supporting with the preparation of client decks, weekly updates, and quarterly reports.
  • Supporting meetings with agendas, notes, follow-ups and data collation.
  • Keeping close to client budgets and helping drive more efficient decision-making.

Marketing & Digital Content

You’ll help bring RMG’s story to life by:

  • Creating and scheduling LinkedIn content that showcases our client activity.
  • Gathering content from field teams and ensuring social posts align with brand standards.

Collaboration & Communication

You’ll partner with teams across the business including:

  • Finance, Payroll, Operations, Commercial and Warehouse teams.
  • Third-party suppliers to support stock, merchandise, and equipment logistics.

Insight, Research & Continuous Improvement

You’ll add value by:

  • Conducting market, competitor, and category research.
  • Supporting QBRs and new business proposals through insights and content creation.
  • Spotting opportunities to enhance processes and improve operational efficiency.

Experience

  • Experience in an operational, coordination, support, or marketing role is beneficial.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Suites and comfortable with Google sheets too.
  • Comfortable using multiple digital tools and systems.
  • Confidence working with data, reports, and client-facing materials.
