About Us
RESQ Plus delivers flexible, and integrated employment services across Central West Queensland as part of the Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES). We work closely with participants, local employers, and stakeholders to support compliance with program requirements while helping participants engage in suitable activities, build employability skills, and progress towards sustainable employment.
About the Role
As an Employment Pathway Coach, you will support participants to meet their participation and
mutual obligation requirements, while actively assisting them to move closer to sustainable employment outcomes.
- Providing tailored coaching and case management to address vocational, social, and non-vocational barriers.
- Assisting with resumes, job applications, and interview preparation.
- Identifying and referring participants to suitable activities, training, and specialist services aligned with RAES guidelines
- Working with participants to develop and maintain Employment Pathway Plans
- Building and maintaining relationships with local employers, community organisations, and stakeholders
- Monitoring attendance, participation, and progress to support compliance with Services Australia requirements
This is a full‑time role based in Longreach, with regional travel required.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
- Demonstrates a strong drive to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A current driver’s licence.
Desirable:
- Experience in employment services, case management, vocational rehabilitation, or a similar role.
- Certificate IV in Employment Services (or willingness to obtain).
- Mental Health First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working with Indigenous communities (highly valued).
