The Role
As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Resly, you’re not just building features – you’re helping shape how we build.
You’ll take ownership of complex problems, design scalable solutions, and work across the stack to deliver high-quality, impactful outcomes. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring others, improving our engineering practices, and contributing to technical direction.
Our primary tech stack is Javascript, using ReactJS, NextJS & NodeJS.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and deliver high quality, scalable features across the stack
- Take ownership of complex technical problems and drive them through to resolution
- Contribute to architectural decisions and improve system design
- Collaborate closely with product and design to shape solutions, not just implement them
- Mentor and support other developers, raising the bar across the team
- Improve code quality, testing, and deployment practices
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and developer experience
What We’re Seeking
- Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer, with a track record of designing and delivering scalable, maintainable systems in production environments
- Deep expertise in Node.js and React (or comparable technologies), with sound judgement on when to apply different tools and patterns
- Strong grounding in modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews), with practical use of AI-assisted development (e.g. prompt engineering, AI agents) to enhance productivity and code quality
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make pragmatic, well-reasoned decisions
- Experience working in agile, high-velocity teams, ideally within startup or scale-up environments
- Hands-on experience operating in cloud environments (e.g. GCP or similar), including deploying, debugging, and optimising live systems, not just designing for them
- Comfortable working remotely across time zones, with strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with Next.js, Typescript, GCP, Firebase
- Experience improving architecture or scaling systems
- Experience mentoring or leading other developers
