Head of Engineering
Full-Time | Senior Leadership | High Impact Role
At Resly, we’re reimagining hospitality technology – building thoughtful, scalable software that helps our customers run better businesses. We’re on the lookout for a Head of Engineering to lead our engineering function, partner closely with Product and Design, and help elevate how we deliver as we grow.
🧠 What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll own engineering leadership and delivery outcomes across a small, high-impact team:
- Lead and coach our Tech Lead, Product Manager, UX/UI Designer, and Training & Documentation Specialist
- Align engineering, product, and design around a clear roadmap and delivery rhythm
- Make prioritisation and sequencing decisions to keep delivery calm, focused, and predictable
- Partner with the Tech Lead on major technical trade-offs and risk discussions, ensuring delivery decisions balance quality, sustainability, and business needs
- Own delivery predictability, execution planning, and stakeholder communication across the business
- Build the foundations for scalable engineering practices as Resly grows
- Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to translate company goals into execution plans
This role works closely with the Tech Lead, who owns day-to-day technical execution and development delivery.
💡 What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years experience in engineering leadership or engineering management roles
- Strong technical background with the ability to engage in complex problem-solving
- Proven ability to lead small teams and drive delivery outcomes in a product-led environment
- Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on support when needed
- Calm, pragmatic leadership style with strong communication and prioritisation skills
- Experience working closely with founders and senior leadership in a fast-moving, scaling business
- Bonus: experience in SaaS, modern cloud environments, or scaling engineering functions
