About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. In this role, you will elicit and document business requirements, collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors, and partners, and ensure solutions align with strategic objectives. You will act as a key liaison, providing oversight across IT projects including ERP, CRM, cybersecurity, and infrastructure initiatives.
This is a full time on-site role based in our Essendon Office with occasional travel to our operational site (Epping, Montrose, Hallam and Cranbourne).
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions.
- Serve as the primary contact between business units and technical teams, managing stakeholder expectations.
- Present proposed solutions to stakeholders, end-users, and executive teams.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure solutions comply with technical standards, security protocols, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to project planning, resource allocation, and team coordination.
- Promote a safe and positive working environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field. Professional certifications (ECBA, CBAP, CCBA, ITIL) highly regarded.
- Strong experience on complex IT projects, including ERP, CRM, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work with internal teams, external vendors, and business units.
- Proficiency with project management tools (Microsoft Project, O365) and data/reporting tools (Power BI).
- Knowledge of IT systems and standards, including ISO frameworks, NIST, and Essential 8.
