Location: Darwin with potential to travel to remote sites


Position Type: Part-time or full-time

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Project Administrator / General Administrator / Personal Assistant to support our civil and construction operations. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of administrative functions across projects, including remote worksites. You will work closely with project managers, supervisors, and compliance personnel to maintain accurate records, coordinate documentation, and support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support to project teams and management
  • Maintain and manage project documentation, registers, and records
  • Assist with timesheet collection, verification, and submission
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and logistics for site personnel
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and project documentation
  • Support compliance requirements (WHS, environmental, and quality systems)
  • Manage filing systems (electronic and hard copy)
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with onboarding and general HR administration tasks

 

Skills & Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative role (civil/construction industry highly regarded)
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with project systems, timesheets, or compliance documentation is an advantage

 

Desirable

  • Experience working on remote or regional projects
  • Knowledge of WHS requirements in construction
  • Familiarity with document control systems
