About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Family Violence Case Manager to work with adult men who use family violence.

In this role, you will provide individualised, strengths-based case management, supporting men to recognise, take responsibility for, and change their use of violence. You will balance engagement and accountability, while prioritising the safety and wellbeing of victim-survivors.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Conducting risk assessments and safety planning using MARAM
  • Provide case management support in accordance Perpetrator Case Management Guidelines
  • Promoting accountability and supporting behaviour change through structured, purposeful engagement
  • Coordinating responses with internal and external stakeholders, including family safety workers, Men’s behaviour Change facilitators, police, courts and specialist services
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentations in line with practice standards.

This role is ideal for a practitioner who is confident working in complexity and committed to ending family violence through collaborative, accountable practice.

About you

  • You are an empathetic, skilled, and reflective practitioner with:
  • Demonstrated experience working with men who use family violence
  • Strong understanding of family violence dynamics, MARAM frameworks and apply FSV Perpetrator Case Management Guidelines
  • Excellent engagement skills and ability to balance support with accountability
  • A collaborative approach to working across multidisciplinary teams
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • You value confidentiality and approach your work with integrity.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Social Work or a related discipline
  • Graduate Certificate in Client Assessment and Case Management and/or Men’s Family Violence (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, safety planning, and case management
  • Experience facilitating Men’s Behaviour Change Group Program (optional)
