We’re currently looking for a motivated and reliable Weighbridge Attendant to join our team at our Colbinabbin site on a full-time basis.

 

About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring product quality and inventory accuracy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring commodities are ordered appropriately and received in acceptable condition
  • Inspecting, sampling, and testing incoming commodities to meet quality and contract standards
  • Liaising with the commodity team, scheduling team and milling team regarding production requirements and stock levels
  • Supporting monthly stocktakes and maintaining inventory in a just-in-time environment
  • Cataloguing product samples and maintaining accurate records
  • Completing daily administrative tasks, including non-conformance reports
  • Upholding quality standards across grain and mineral inputs

About You

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience with weighbridge operations, commodities, stockfeed, or grain sampling
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous administration and/or customer service experience
  • Good computer literacy and ability to follow strict processes
  • The ability to work under pressure, work safely and meet deadlines
  • A reliable, self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
  • While this position is full time you will be flexible on working hours
